“Don’t seek, don’t search, don’t ask, don’t knock, don’t demand—relax. If you relax, it comes. If you relax, it is there. If you relax, you start vibrating with it.” Â -Osho

Listening, Listening, Listening…
Kona had a bit of an illness with casualties of a kennel, a few comforters, several towels and washrags! Explosive diarrhea everywhere. Not fun. But my Aunt reminded me that crazy moments happen in life to GROUND us.
By grounding I mean, take a breath, pay attention, and listen…
So, noted, LIFE and the Universe really wanted some major Presence going on from me.
I got to visit North Fork 53 in Nehalem, OR for an upcoming article with Clatsop News. I learned about green tea, the retreat center, and all the projects they’ve got going on out there. Can’t spill the deets, but the article will be out in a week or two!
It was super FUN spending 4th of July with the FAM.
Grandma tells Gigi, “Get that hair out of your beautiful face dear…” and then she Danced and sang to her favorite country song.
“You were born to fly……!”
Next up was Wheeler Station where we found some crafty ideas for fun family Christmas presents.
On the way back North we stopped into the Vintage Unicorn in Nehalem, OR and found there was a contest going on to name their mascot. Which is a Unicorn… So, G took this shot of me with the as yet Unknown named Unicorn so I could “creatively” think up a name, submit it to the contest, and possibly win!
I might’ve just been more happy to get a pic with a Unicorn than anything because we never thought of a fun name other than “Music” or “Lyric” so we just didn’t submit anything.

The next day we went and hiked the two mile loop around Coffenbury Lake at Fort Stevens State Park. It was Kona’s first hike!
After weekend fun it was project, research and writing time again. I got to travel to Olney, OR to visit the Wildlife Center of the North Coast for an upcoming article with Clatsop News. While there, I stood less than 10 feet from an actual bald eagle. One whose wing was broken, got pinned back together, broke again, pinned again and is still able to fly. Due in thanks to all the great work of the helpers at the wildlife center.
I also, learned a ton from that wild Osprey at the top right up there. Stay tuned for the article of the entire visit coming up on ClatsopNews.com in the next couple weeks.
Ran into my mom randomly on my way walking to work on the beach and the more amazing coincidences like this happen, the more I realize that these things are NOT RANDOM.
#MiraclesHappenEverywhere

Received some great news, all of which the details will be shared in the next coming weeks. On the day this great news came through, this letter from a dear friend in California came through too! Felt like the same type of “random” coincidence as running into my mom.
My take away? Although, both parents aren’t physically “here”, they do both love and support the BIG steps I am taking in my life right now from the vantage points of physical and non-physical being.
Message Received! Thanks to all the listening I’d been prepped to do earlier in the week. <3
Got a few workouts in with this beautiful weather! Can’t say this new location has a bad view… 😉
Got my hairs did in Seaside. Then we took Kona to Astoria for a bath! Not her favorite activity.
But after lots of treats, a good walk outside and some sunshine she forgives us. <3
“We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us.”
-Joseph Campbell
I’ve never quite done a blog like this before. I thought it would be fun to just detail a few of the things that have happened since my last blog post. When I started going through the pictures I said to G, “Holy Crap. We do A LOT of stuff!”
She laughed and said, “Yeah. Now you can’t ever say ‘We don’t do anything!'”
I laughed back at her. Because it’s true. Sometimes I say that. But it’s also not true because, we actually do a lot of stuff as I have now discovered through reflection. And that was only the half of things that I actually took pictures of.
This is an excerpt from a post I made in 2015 (The Power of Personal Manifesto’s) as I started listening to what, who, and how things, people, places, things were showing up in my Life.
All in all, it’s the Listening and the Receiving of messages that I tune the most into these days. I’ve been playing the “Hero’s Journey” game of Life for a quite a while now. And it’s true when you pay attention to the signs, synchronicities, and “random” convergences in Life they actually will encourage and guide you along your way.
Life just keeps getting better and better.
Our ambition should not be to win but to play with our full effort.
Our intention is not to be thanked or recognized, but to help and to do what we think is right.
Our focus is not on what happens to us but on how we respond.
In this, we will find contentment and resilience.
